As a member of the real-time systems research group, Thomas Losert is involved in the development of the
TTP/A protocol, a multimaster time-triggered
field-bus protocol out of the family of the time-triggered protocols.
His research work focuses on a
CORBA-based
architecture for hard real-time systems. This architecture is based on the
results of earlier projects (e.g., HRTC)
and allows a smooth integration with the the
Smart Transducer Interface
specification of the
OMG.
