Abstract
This paper is a first step towards a practical evaluation of some previously proposed system architectures for conducting application software tests of time-driven realtime systems. Of special interest was an evaluation of the reproducibility of test runs. While familiarity with MARS is assumed, the application which was used to conduct these experiments is described in some detail. Then the experiments which have been performed are given, along with their necessary preparations. Finally, we present the results and their interpretation and conclude with the consequences of these results on the proposed test system architectures.
